Saison for Spring

I've been asked about brewing a sour beer for a long time, and offered many samples. Never been a fan of them, but recently had a Saison from Four Winds Brewing in Ladner BC that changed my mind. It was dry and fruity, with a nice Belgian yeast character. It was refreshing without the lip puckering tartness of so many sour ales.

So, I made the leap and gave it a try. I'll be at the Vashon Liquor Store this first Friday April 2, where I'll be having a launch party for my first sour ale. Stop by between 5:30pm - 7:30pm and let me know what you think of it!
